This section may appear a bit more "serious" than the main website, as it has reference material and links about Mental Health and associated Mental Disorders. There is also an archive of some previous letters and questions I have responded to.
While it is important to focus on the "good" in our lives, sometimes we need to understand what isn't working, so that we might transcend it and move forward in our lives. That is the goal of this section.
You are welcome to email me with any questions you might have about psychology, psychotherapy, mental health and dealing with the mental health "system." And, questions about family, relationships, career, sexuality and spiritual psychology are also always welcome.
There is no charge for your email questions, although I will automatically subscribe you to my free monthly "Learn To Feel Good" newsletter. And if appropriate, I might include your letter in my newsletter or web site, if I feel that it might serve others.
I won't include your name or other identifying information though and please let me know if you definitely don't want your letter published. I do my best to answer all emails, although I can't guarantee the timeliness of my response. Sometimes I can respond within a week, sometimes a month, sometimes longer. I do my best.

Many of you who use my complimentary "Ask Dr. Sheck" service have asked me if there was a way that I could prioritize your requests. My solution is this. If you send me your question/request with my new service, for a $15 fee (still very reasonable, I think), I will respond to your request within 72 hours. This gives you an added option.
